Business of the Month

Congratulations go to Brady Gilbert, owner of CallBrady.com. Brady, and his wonderful wife Jennifer, can handle all your computer problems and set up your website, as they have for TRABA. They will service your computer inside your business or home, or they can take it back to their shop for the more difficult problems. Having left working for the Kemet Corp in their IT department, Brady is now local and ready to help all of us with our "net needs". You may contact Brady or Jennifer at brady@callbrady.com, or if your computer is sick, you may call them at 335-8672

Citizen of the Year, Dot Bishop
Citizen of the Year 2008

The Travelers Rest Area Business Association proudly announces Mrs. Dot Bishop as our 2008 Citizen of the Year. Sponsored by the Bank of Travelers Rest, this prestigious award recognizes one citizen each year who has worked consistently to make Travelers Rest a better place to live, work and play. Mrs. Bishop, formerly a teacher and guidence counselor at Travelers Rest High School, has worked diligently all her life to enhance the lives of those living in the North County area. Most recently, she has been the leader in gathering artifacts for the Bicentennial celebration of our City, and has been most instrumental in the organization of the new Travelers Rest Historical Society, who's goal is to preserve our past for our future.

Please join us in congratulating Dot Bishop as our Citizen of the Year, 2008.

Compu-Counting - Diana Kilgore

Diana's contributions to Travelers Rest are almost indescribable. Diana maintains business growth while demonstrating true Christian Integrity while owning and operating Compu-Counting. Due to her hard work, she was also the greatest contributor during 2007 Relay for Life. She consistently donates $5.00 from every tax return she prepares in addition to collecting client contributions. Diana is also a volunteer for Angel Food Minitries. She volunteers her time to co-ordinate and encourage "The Breakfast Club" and Activate Greenville team. She actively supports her daughter as she prepares for her duties with the Army National Guard. Diana is presently serving her second year as an outstanding treasurer for our own TRABA. She is also pianist and actively works in her church. Her characteristics and activities can be described in two words, "Serving Others." Her personality makes her a blessing to be around.
